Main Street Minute: Doors open at East Valley business

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• The new Isagenix International headquarters has opened in Gilbert. More than 500 were hired to work at the marketing company’s site near Loop 202 and Gilbert Road. The Rivulon mixed-use development includes more than 3 million square feet of retail and office space.

• Another burger joint may soon come to the Valley. The Phoenix Business Journal reported that Texas-based Mooyah Burgers, Fries and Shakes is planning to open 15-20 locations across metro Phoenix. Mooyah has 95 locations in seven countries and 23 states.

• Mesa Community College is hosting a veterans resource fair Thursday. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is designed to raise awareness among veterans that resources are available to assist with issues concerning health care, family, legal, finance, employment, higher education, housing and more.
