PHOENIX — A theater with a bar and restaurant will soon be open in Chandler.
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema announced it would open its first Arizona location in 2015 in a new mixed-use project in downtown Chandler.
“For months, I’ve been looking for the perfect site for our first venue in Arizona and finally found it in Chandler,” theater partner Craig Paschich said. “After visiting the local restaurants and shops, I immediately fell in love with the area.”
The theater’s eight screens will feature new releases, classic film and other programs. In all, the auditoriums should hold 825 people. Food and drinks will be served during films by a wait staff.
