Valley street makes list of ‘America’s Best’ for Christmas lights

Thrillist released its list of “America’s Best Streets for Christmas Lights” and one Valley city made the cut.
A southeast Phoenix area (specifically, Chandler Boulevard between 24th Street and Desert Hills Parkway) is in the top 10 and was recognized for its thousands of LED lights that drape over lawns, cacti and driveways and give the appearance of a Christmas among the stars.
The list includes the famous “Candy Cane Lane” in Woodland Hills, Calif., so the fact that Ahwatukee made the list is pretty cool.
If you don’t want to make the trip to Ahwatukee (or Woodland Hills), other cool light destinations include the Phoenix Zoo’s “Zoolights” display.
