PHOENIX — A Mesa Catholic priest was arrested Thursday on child prostitution charges.
The Rev. Solomon Bandiho, a parochial administrator at Holy Cross Parish, and four others were arrested after agreeing to meet an undercover officer posing as a 16-year-old girl for sex, police said.
Bandiho was appointed to the Holy Cross Parish, near Southern Avenue and Power Road, in July.
The suspects were all between 26 and 49 years old. They were all booked on a charge of child prostitution.
