PHOENIX — A bright, colorful and mobile holiday tradition will roll into Phoenix on Saturday night when the APS Electric Light Parade returns.
The 28th annual parade will start at 7 p.m. on Central Avenue near Bethany Home Road, rain or shine.
The festive event brings the community together, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton said in a statement.
Mickey Mouse will serve as grand marshal of the “Holidays in Toyland” edition of the parade.
Parade lovers can get a sneak peek Friday — all motorized entries will be on display during judging from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at North Phoenix Baptist Church.
