Sen. Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign is taking a bit of a blow on Super Tuesday, as his rival Hillary Clinton posts strong numbers once again.

However, Sanders did win Oklahoma, his home state of Vermont and Colorado. The Vermont senator was hoping Tuesday will turn his fortunes after several rough Democratic primaries. Clinton won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Massachusetts.

Sanders, who has energized young voters with his call for a political revolution, is seeking to pick up victories in other states including Minnesota. Clinton is currently leading in that state.

After he voted Tuesday in his hometown of Burlington, Vermont, Sanders told reporters that if voter turnout is high “we are going to do well. If not, we’re probably going to be struggling.”

However, Sanders’ campaign feel the senator can weather the storm and make a run later in March, when Nebraska, Kansas and Louisiana — which are perceived as friendlier territory — host their presidential primaries.

Sanders will get another opportunity to take on Clinton on Sunday in another Democratic debate. The pair will fight for delegates in Kansas, Louisiana and Nebraska on Saturday.
