Main Street Minute: Valley restaurants offering deals for Leap Day

• Jump on these Leap Day deals across the Valley. Fired Pie is offering free pizza or salad to anyone born Feb. 29, Sauce Pizza and Wine is offering all customers a side of its popular mac and cheese for $2.29. It’s normally $4. Culver’s is offering one scoop vanilla fresh frozen cones for 29 cents.

• A popular Valley food truck is opening an actual restaurant. The Great Pho King’s new location is near Thomas and Hayden roads in Scottsdale. It features a full bar, patio and expanded menu.

• There’s a job fair Monday near Sky Harbor Airport. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Hilton Phoenix Airport near 44th Street and University Drive. Employers including State Farm, Fry’s Food, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and U.S. Customs and Border Protection will be on hand. Bring plenty of resumes.
