Motorcyclist killed in crash near Interstate 17, Union Hills Drive

PHOENIX — A motorcyclist was killed when he collided with a pickup truck Friday morning near a northwest Phoenix freeway.

The accident at an Interstate 17 underpass closed Union Hills Drive in both directions and the freeway ramps. Authorities said the roadway would be closed all morning.

The driver of the truck was alert enough to talk to police.
