PHOENIX — Improvement projects will close some sections of multiple Phoenix-area freeways over the weekend.
Interstate 10 eastbound will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday between the Interstate 17 interchange and State Route 51 interchange. This includes ramps to both roadways.
Westbound I-10 will be closed, including ramps from southbound SR 51, from 9 p.m. on Saturday to 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane between Queen Creek and Riggs roads from 9 p.m. on Friday to 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 10 a.m. on Sunday, and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday. The ramp to I-10 eastbound on Riggs Road will be closed.
Ramps in both direction at Loop 101 at 90th Street will be closed overnight all next week from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge widening. This will also reduce 90th Street to one lane.
The I-10 eastbound has been narrowed to one lane between State Route 85 and Watson Road in Buckeye from 10 p.m. on Friday to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
The northbound State Route 85 ramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed Saturday from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. The eastbound ramp to southbound Sate Route 85 is also closed Saturday from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.
