Arizona, you did it again.

The KTAR News and Arizona Sports Give-A-Thon benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital raised more than $1 million over the last two days.

“The money raised in Give-A-Thon will help PCH continue to build on its world class care for our community,” said Steve Schnall, Chief Development Officer for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. “And we can never express enough gratitude to KTAR, Arizona Sports, their dedicated staffs and their amazing audiences who always come through for the kids,” Schnall added.

The final toteboard reads $1,177,168 — a record for Give-A-Thon — with donations still being tallied.

“We’re always amazed at the outpouring support we get from our listeners, our website users and our sponsors,” said Scott Sutherland, Vice President and Market Manager for Bonneville Phoenix. “And that’s a testament to how important and connected PCH is to our community,” Sutherland said.

KTAR and Arizona Sports want to thank all of the Give-A-Thon business partners – Presenting Sponsor Valley Hyundai Dealers, along with Wells Fargo, Wendy’s, Century Link , Ace Hardware, Benson Systems, Go AZ Motorcycles and Harley Davidson of Scottsdale.

Also, many companies joined in to help the community with check presentations.

Thousands of people from across the Valley came together to support the non-profit hospital that focuses solely on the care of children with challenging diseases.

One hundred percent of the donations will be given to PCH, one of the largest and most respected children’s hospitals in the country.

PCH’s mission is to provide hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.
