Frontier Airlines launches 3 flights from Phoenix with $19 fares

PHOENIX — Frontier Airlines announced a daylong sale from Phoenix to three western cities to help launch nonstop service to those destinations.
On Wednesday, the discount airline added Houston, Salt Lake City and San Francisco to its routes, with fares starting at $19 one-way online. The Denver-based airline also is offering seats for $49-$69 one-way through Sept. 24.

Services to those cities begins Nov. 20.
There are holiday blackout dates and other restrictions. Seats available at that price are limited and travel has to take place on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. Tickets for the one-day sale have to be bought by 11:59 Eastern Time.
