U of A Athletics to go mobile for ticket purchases

PHOENIX — University of Arizona’s athletic department is implementing a new measure to help fans buy tickets without having to leave their tailgates.
According to a tweet posted by Arizona Athletics on Aug. 29, the mobile ticketing staff will be around the school’s tailgating area, which for football, means near Arizona Stadium.
The photo shows the staff in neon yellow shirts holding an iPad, presumably the type of device that will be used to purchase the tickets.
