Tech group hopes to open eyes in Mesa with open-data workshop

PHOENIX — Technology meets the road in Mesa this week at the Open Data Roadshow.
Code for America, a nonprofit group whose goal is to help city governments use technology more effectively for better transparency, will set up at Mesa Arts Center on Thursday.
The city of Mesa and Arizona State University are also helping to host the event, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Code for America is no stranger to the Valley. The organization has a team of fellows based in Mesa.
