Main Street Minute: Free fitness club membership for service members

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Mountainside Fitness is honoring current and past men and women in uniform. Twenty-five deserving active-duty military members and veterans will be awarded a free lifetime membership to the club. Go online to nominate your military hero.
• There is a big military job fair Wednesday in central Phoenix. It runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the North Phoenix Baptist Church conference center near Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road. More than 40 employers will be on site recruiting job seekers and their spouses.
• Chompie’s is hosting a hiring event Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at its soon-to-open Arrowhead Mall location. The popular New York-style deli is looking for managers, servers, cooks and more.
