Report: Sky Harbor best airport for small business

PHOENIX — Phoenix Sky Harbor has gotten top accolades from the federal government.
According to a new report, the Office of the Inspector General, part of the U.S. Department of Transportation Office, has ranked Sky Harbor No. 1 for the number of small businesses added during the 2012 fiscal year.
The Phoenix Business Journal reported that 14 new small businesses were added to the airport, beating out Atlanta with 10 and Miami with seven.
Local restaurants are largely responsible for the large presence of small businesses at Phoenix Sky Harbor, housing such treats as La Grande Orange, Cartel Coffee Lab, New York Pizza Department and Barrio Cafe.
