PHOENIX — For those starting a new small business in Gilbert, the town’s got a new program to help.
It’s called Taking Care of Small Business.
“The intent of the program is to help small business get through the process,” said Kyle Meiras, development services director with the Town of Gilbert.
The program launched in July and gives free support for Gilbert residents to help them with things like zoning laws, licensing, fire codes and tenant improvements.
“These folks are very good at starting the business and running the business, but they may not be experts in our processes,” he said. “That’s where we can help get them up and running and going through our processes quickly, so they can get their doors open and begin making money.”
More information including the application process can be found here.
