PHOENIX — Things are getting pretty heated on the border, what with thousands of illegal immigrant children being housed as they await the legal process.
But according to ABC15.com, Arizona state legislator Adam Kwasman, who is running for Congress, was a little confused on Tuesday. He was in Oracle, Ariz., with a crowd of protesters awaiting a bus full of immigrant children.
“Bus coming in. This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law,” Kwasman tweeted from scene.
There was a tiny issue, however: The bus of immigrant children never arrived. Kwasman spotted a busload of American children headed for the Triangle Y Ranch Camp.
Kwasman was later told about his mistake. He deleted his original tweet and posted an apology.
Last tweet not the bus of illegal immigrant children. Thank God.
