PHOENIX — Arizona transportation officials have reopened an interstate in
Winslow and partially reopened another one near Phoenix.
The Arizona Department of Transportation reopened Interstate 40 eastbound
Saturday morning following a fatal collision. Westbound traffic was unaffected.
Meanwhile, a crash closed down westbound lanes on Interstate 10 about 25 miles
west of downtown Phoenix at Verrado Way.
Authorities said a single lane going west is now open to traffic but crews are
still responding to the collision.
Drivers should still anticipate delays as they approach the area. The eastbound
side was unaffected.
