PHOENIX — The puppy that was thrown from a moving vehicle in the West Valley last month is getting a new leash on life.
Named “Timmy” by his caretakers, the dog has now healed and is ready for a new, loving home.
After getting thrown from the vehicle, Timmy suffered significant neurological issues. Veterinarians tried but were unable to save his front left leg and were forced to amputate it.
But Timmy is getting around just fine now and the Arizona Animal Welfare League is putting the happy pup up for adoption starting Friday.
