In honor of the biggest football game of the year, we’ve decided to focus on the most important aspect to the Super Bowl: food.
For those who would rather laugh over the game’s best commercials and stuff their faces with the year’s most delicious food — outside of Thanksgiving, of course — this is the post for you.
Luckily for us, the folks over at Huffington Post decided to do the same and ranked the most popular Super Bowl snack by state using last week’s Google searches.
For Arizona, buffalo chicken dip ranked as the favorite Super Bowl snack across the whole entire state. In fact, the dip was the most popular food across the entire nation.
Coming in second was the class 7-layer dip, followed by chicken wings, meatballs and pulled pork.
(Don’t worry — if your stomach is rumbling, you’re not alone.)
So, how exactly do you make this coveted dish that is certain to impress all your friends, even if you can’t tell the difference between a touchdown and a touchback?
Here’s an easy-to-follow video, courtesy of BuzzFeed, for all of those who would like to try.
(Hint: Pour the mix into a Crock Pot and keep it on low heat for about an hour and a half before serving for maximum results.)
And for those who prefer to go dairy-free, that doesn’t have to mean fun-free: Simply substitute the cheeses for dairy-free options. It can also be made vegan by using tofu instead of chicken.
