Mummified Tucson man likely died of electrocution

TUCSON, Ariz. — An autopsy shows that a man whose mummified remains were
found in a Tucson manhole last month likely died of electrocution.

The report Tuesday from the Pima County medical examiner’s office says the dead
man was holding a pair of bolt cutters in an underground high voltage utility
access with cut copper wires near the remains.
