Police arrest suspect in Phoenix bank robbery

PHOENIX — A man suspected of robbing a Chase Bank in Phoenix earlier this week was arrested Wednesday, police said.
Eric A. Goins, Jr., 36, was identified by several people who saw a security photo distributed to media.
Goins allegedly entered the bank located at 8001 N. 35th Ave. about 2 p.m. Tuesday and presented a threatening note to a teller. He was given cash and fled on foot.
No one was injured during the bank robbery.
Goins was charged with one count of armed robbery.
