Main Street Minute: Free admission to Phoenix Open for next two days

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Golf fans can head out to the Waste Management Phoenix Open to watch for free on Monday and Tuesday. Arizona Ford dealers are sponsoring the days at TPC of Scottsdale. Spectators will be able to catch the pros during practice rounds, the pro-am and the Special Olympics Open. Tournament play begins Thursday.
• An East Valley Mexican-food restaurant mainstay plans to celebrate 30 years in business with an expansion. The Phoenix Business Journal reported the Arizona chain Someburros hadn’t announced any details, but was looking for neighborhood-friendly areas with buildings that have drive-thru setups. There are six locations in the Valley and one in Flagstaff.
• A popular downtown Phoenix restaurant has new ownership. Jim Gallen has purchased Tom’s Tavern, located near First Avenue and Washington Street. The restaurant has been around since 1929.
