Scottsdale mall worker rescued from scissor lift, was 60 feet in the air

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A worker at a Scottsdale mall has been rescued after
getting stuck 60 feet in the air on a scissor-lift device.

Authorities say fire department technical rescue teams from Scottsdale, Phoenix
and Tempe rescuing the unidentified worker Friday afternoon at the Galleria

Scottsdale Fire officials say the man wasn’t injured.

He told authorities that he was testing the lift when it failed high in the

Fire crews used a ladder truck with a bucket to safely extricate the man off
the scissor-lift.
