Arizona is among the worst states for military retirees, ranking at 48 out of 51 according to a WalletHub report.
The 50 states as well as the District of Columbia were compared in terms of their economic environment, quality of life, and health care services provided.
The best states for military retirees were Wyoming, New Hampshire, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska, respectively.
Ranked at the bottom of the list were Illinois, Arizona, Indiana, New York and California, respectively.
