Phoenix-based Carvana offering pre-owned Teslas

PHOENIX — One online auto retailer is now offering Tesla as an option for potential buyers.
Phoenix-based Carvana.com is offering certified, pre-owned models of the 2013 Tesla Model S to consumers, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
“[Buyers] can take the electric car for a virtual spin [and] view high-definition 360-degree interior and exterior photos highlighting the vehicle’s features, the company said in a press release.
The Model S is just the first of many Tesla vehicles Carvana will offer. By going through the online retailer, “car buyers [can] bypass waiting lists in their home state,” as Tesla faces an uphill battle in certain states, due to its unique business model.
The Model S is currently available on Carvana for $88,000.
