PHOENIX — A fire that burned at least 500 acres near Prescott has been fully contained, fire officials said Wednesday.
The blaze, which started in grassland Tuesday afternoon, did not require evacuation of residents.
No structures were ever threatened.
Fire restrictions have been in place for a few weeks in the area. Officials believe the fire was human-caused.
