FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A suspect was in custody in connection with a shooting
at a Flagstaff home that has left the victim clinging to life.
Flagstaff police said 54-year-old George Azar is being held on suspicion of
second-degree attempted homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He was booked Thursday night into the Coconino County Jail.
Larry Hernandez, 38, suffered life-threatening injuries and
remained in intensive care at Flagstaff Medical Center.
The Arizona Daily Sun reported that Azar and Hernandez worked together and may
have been in a dispute over money.
Police said the shooting occurred at Azar’s house.
