PHOENIX — It’s April in Phoenix. Get out the fans and wading pools — weather forecasters are expecting the Valley to creep past 90 degrees by early next week.
As warm as it has been this spring and even winter, it’s hard to believe it took this long to hit 90.
The National Weather Service said the temperature gauge should see the year’s first 90-degree day by Tuesday. The average date for the first 90-degree day is March 31; last year’s first day at 90 (actually, it surpassed 95) was March 14.
