Tempe PD locate missing elderly man

PHOENIX — The Tempe Police Department have located the elderly, Valley man, who went for a walk late Saturday night but had not returned home since.

According to Tempe PD, 72-year-old Edward Quintero left his Tempe home located in the area of Guadalupe Road and McClintock Drive at 10:30 p.m. MST and never came back.

After more than 12 hours of searching for Quintero, officials found him in good health between 48th Street and Ray Road.

Tempe PD Lt. Jeffrey Glover noted that officers are currently at the scene with Quintero. However, he’s expected to be reunited with his family shortly.
