FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A warning for hazardous fire conditions is in effect
for northeastern Arizona on Monday because of a forecast for strong winds.
The National Weather Service said a weather system and dry cold front
approaching from the north will bring winds to much of northern Arizona,
generally along and north of Interstate 40.
A wind advisory is in effect for winds of 20-30 mph with gust up to 50 mph.
Forecasters said the red flag warning for dangerous fire conditions in
northeastern Arizona will remain in effect through early Monday evening.
