PHOENIX — The Arizona Supreme Court has reappointed Coconino County’s
presiding judge to a second term.
The state’s highest court announced Friday that Judge R. Mark Moran will
oversee the northern Arizona’s county courts for a new three-year term.
As presiding judge, Moran handles one fourth of Coconino County’s criminal and
civil cases, except for domestic relations cases, and is the elections judge in
He also supervises case assignments and monitors whether the courts are
processing cases in an efficient manner.
Moran became a Coconino County Superior Court judge in 2005 and earned a
presiding judge position in 2010.
