PHOENIX — Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer will lead a trade mission to Israel later this year.
Brewer will be accompanied by Sonora, Mexico Gov. Guillermo Padres. They will meet with high-tech companies interested in expanding to Arizona and Mexico.
“It’s a big deal and if it’s successful it will bring jobs to both sides of the border. If Arizona is to remain competitive in the global economy, it is crucial that we continue to seek and support productive international partnerships,” Brewer said.
The governor has been on previous trade missions to China, Europe, India and Taiwan.
A departure date hasn’t been set.
