Police are searching for three white males in connection to a robbery and an assault of two teenage boys.
According to police, two 13-year-old boys were cutting through a field in the 2700 block of East Shea Boulevard near Shea Middle School on Dec. 18 when three males, all in their 20’s approached the boys. Police said the boys were tackled and thrown to the ground and then threatened with a knife by one of the suspects. The force of the tackle broke one of the boys wrist and the suspects made off with some of the victims property before fleeing on BMX style bicycles.
“When you combine the facts that physical force was used, deadly force was threatened, and the age of the victims, you can see we need these suspects identified,” police said in a press release.
The suspects are described as three white males, about 20 years in age, each about 5 foot 8, weighing from 160 to 190 pounds. One of the suspects has a goatee.
