Mac & Gaydos hang out with ‘Star Wars’ fans on opening night

Dec 18, 2015, 12:25 PM | Updated: 1:42 pm

Everyone seems to be talking about this new “Star Wars” movie, so we sent Mac & Gaydos to Tempe Marketplace on Thursday night to hang out with some of the fans on opening night.

From what we can tell, the guys certainly had some fun. They met plenty of fans who were dressed up as all kinds of characters — R2-D2, Chewbacca and Rae from “The Force Awakens” were our favorites — and even a guy with his 1977 bedsheets promoting the original “Star Wars!”

The guys also took some pointers from fans on lightsaber safety and how exactly Chewbacca keeps his fur under control.

But what’s this? It seems like Gaydos is learning to use the Force! Which can only mean one thing…
