Family from Gilbert hopes to win big on ‘Family Feud’

One Gilbert, Ariz. family is hoping to win big on the classic game show “Family Feud.”
The Allen family is hoping for an especially “sweet” win, since their episode airs on Thursday, Oct. 31. They have the chance to win up to $100,000 and a new car.
“Family Feud” premiered in 1976 with host Richard Dawson. The show pits two families against each other, one family member at a time, who guess the answers to survey questions asked to 100 people.
The show currently films in Atlanta with comedian Steve Harvey serving as the sixth host. He took over from actor John O’Hurley in 2010.
