PHOENIX — A 5-week-old kitten is recovering after being thrown from a moving vehicle Sunday morning in northeast Glendale, according to the Arizona Humane Society.
The male kitten was thrown out of a truck along 43rd Avenue and Bell Road, and a witness to the incident recovered the cat and called animal medical technicians.
The kitten reportedly did not suffer any major injuries, but he is now recovering at the Humane Society’s trauma center.
He weighs less than one pound, and the Humane Society said he will be sent to a foster home to spend the next few weeks gaining weight before he can be put up for adoption.
