WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. — Authorities say a Navajo man who was shot Friday
morning by police in Window Rock has died from his injuries.
The FBI identifies the man as Eric Reed.
Window Rock Police District Cmdr. Bob Etsitty says tribal officers had
responded to reports of domestic violence on the east side of the fairgrounds
near the Arizona-New Mexico border. When they arrived, Reed was brandishing a

Another woman inside a vehicle was struck by a bullet, but authorities say her
injuries weren’t life threatening.
