Thanksgiving dinner can be a lot of work. Hours of food preparation and organizing are followed by hours of cooking.

It’s absolutely all right to parse out some of the cooking duties to professionals.

Several Valley restaurants will be glad to help with that, just give them enough time to do the job right.

Take a look at our slideshow to see which Phoenix-area eateries are available for preorders of an entire meal, side dishes, desserts and wines.

Los Sombreros: If turkey is not your thing, why not have a tamale feast instead? Tamale orders can be placed between Nov. 18-Dec. 20 for pick up by the afternoon of Dec. 23 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Prices range from $34.95/dozen (single flavor), $36.95/dozen (two flavors), $39.95/dozen (one of each flavor). Choose from 12 varieties.

J and G Steakhouse: Take the stress out of Thanksgiving this holiday season and treat yourself to a 3-course Thanksgiving Feast at J&G Steakhouse in Scottsdale. J&G Steakhouse is cooking up a special three-course Thanksgiving menu featuring butternut squash soup, roasted turkey with mushrooms and chestnut truffle stuffing and finishing it off with Kabocha pumpkin cheesecake for $65. Regular menu items will also be offered.

Bobby Q: Bobby Q has your Turkey Day covered by offering their famous smoked turkeys. Hand-rubbed with a custom blend of spices and then roasted, slow and low over almond and mesquite wood will make any Thanksgiving memorable. Make it a meal by adding mashed potatoes, fired-roasted corn, gravy and eight cornbreads. Accepting orders now.

Texaz Grill: Llet Steve Freidkin and company do all of the cooking for you with their signature Chicken Fried Turkey offered for lunch and dinner for four days only around Thanksgiving. This tasty dish is paired with a side of mashed potatoes and homemade cranberry sauce and is not to be missed.

La Grande Orange Grocery: Create the perfect meal with LGO’s Thanksgiving menu. Choose from Turkey or Prime rib and a variety of sides and desserts. Hate to Choose? They have meals packages as well. Mary’s whole roasted turkey dinner serves 6 to 8 for $250 and Rotisserie Prime Rib dinner (half or whole) serves 4 to 6 or 8 to 10 $260/ $350. Need some holiday cheer? LGO is also offering a holiday wine package.

Chompie's: Arizona’s New York-style deli is taking pre-orders for whole oven-roasted turkeys, pies, or full course meal packages. Chompie’s four Valley restaurants will be open Thanksgiving Day, not just for order pick-ups but also for dine-in service. The Traditional Full Meal Package (serves 12-15 generously) - $189.99 Thanksgiving Dinner (for dine in or to go) - $15.99 per person. More options available. Whole turkey and large dinner packages must be ordered at least 72 hours in advance for pick up on Nov. 25-26. Chompie’s four Valley locations will be open from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Miracle Mile Deli: Need some turkey, sides and pies? Miracle Mile has got you covered! Order oven roasted turkey by the pound (white and dark meat available), mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, cranberry sauce, Miracle Mile’s famous rolls and rye bread and don't miss out on their fresh baked pies! Pumpkin, pecan, apple, lemon meringue, cherry, blueberry, coconut and Boston cream are available. Call 602-77600992 to place an order. Miracle Mile will be open until 8pm on Wednesday Nov. 25. The deli will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Sushi Roku: Start a new Thanksgiving tradition this year by dining at Sushi Roku on Nov. 26 to enjoy its four-course prefixe menu for dinner. With Red Kuri Squash Soup, Brussels Sprouts and Radicchio Salad, and Sous Vide Diestel Turkey, topped off with one of Sushi Roku's signature desserts on the menu, this is a tradition that anyone could get used to.
