Large dust storm blows into Valley

PHOENIX — A dust storm rolled into the Valley on Thursday afternoon.
The National Weather Service issued a blowing dust warning for Maricopa and Pinal counties. It said wind speeds could be as high as 35 mph and visibility could be cut to as little as a half-mile.
The alert was issued through 7 p.m.
The NWS also said that monsoon storms were possible through Wednesday.
