No smoking: ASU tobacco ban takes effect

PHOENIX — A smoking ban took effect Thursday at all Arizona State University campuses.
According to KPHO-TV, the ban applies to all university property, including campuses, parking structures and university-owned vehicles.
The tobacco free policy was created to provide both the students and the faculty a healthy, comfortable, productive living, learning and working environment.
More than 800 college campuses in the U.S. have banned smoking.
