MESA, Ariz. — An Oro Valley woman got a big surprise when she got off of her flight from Bellingham, Washington to Mesa on Tuesday.
Marni Allen became the five-millionth passenger to arrive at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
She wins a round-trip ticket to anywhere that Allegiant Airlines flies.
Allen said she already knows where she plans to vacation.
“We’re going to take a trip to Maui with my family over November,” she said.
This was Allen’s first time to land at the airport. She decided to take a flight that lands in Mesa instead of Sky Harbor because she said it’s a shorter drive back to Oro Valley.
