PHOENIX — The Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission is asking
Maricopa County Superior Court to block an increase in state
The complaint filed Tuesday challenges the constitutionality of the law passed
by the state Legislature this year. It’s scheduled to take effect on Sept. 13.
The commission is seeking declaratory and injunctive relief from the court.
Last week, the Arizona Supreme Court declined to consider the Clean Elections
