Arizona congressman mentions Zimmerman in fundraising e-mail message

PHOENIX – U.S. Rep. David Schweikert, R-AZ, criticized U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder by alluding to the George Zimmerman trial and the protests following the verdict in an e-mail message sent out for fundraising purposes.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the Arizona congressman also criticized the wiretapping of reporters and the state’s current immigration laws.

“Fast and Furious, the wiretapping of reporters, the attack on Arizona’s immigration laws, the use of government funds to support left-wing protests, and now threatening to ignore a citizen jury in Florida- all this and much more have occurred under Eric Holder’s direction at the Department of Justice.”
