The Arizona Humane Society has been called to set up temporary shelters at the Wickenburg High School to house animals displaced by the Yarnell Hill Fire.
The AHS will bring their 60-foot mobile clinic in order to provide emergency medical care for animals. Food, bowls, wire crates, blankets and towels will also be provided.
The shelter is in need of towels, blankets and five-gallon buckets. Anyone willing to donate to the animals in need and the AHS can drop off any of the items at the AHS’ Sunnyslope shelter at 9226 N. 13th Ave. in Phoenix.
For more information on donating, volunteering or the animals being rescued call the American Red Cross 800-842-7349.
