Sunrise Park Resort cancels Fourth of July fireworks display

The ongoing fires along with weather conditions have forced Sunrise Park Resort to cancel its Fourth of July celebrations.

A statement from Sunrise Park Resort’s Facebook page said the fireworks were canceled but other activities were still planned:

Do to Fires in the Rock Creek Area and in recognition of the current weather conditions, Sunrise will be cancelling the July 4th Fireworks Display over Sunrise Lake. The 3D Archery Shoot-Out will still be held on July 5th, 6th & 7th. Scenic Lift Rides will be available to all contestants and the general public.
