Deputies find dead dog in park, suspect foul play

PHOENIX — Authorities suspect that a dog found dead in a Fountain Hills park may have been the victim of foul play.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office was informed about 2 p.m. on May 28 that a dead dog was lying in Golden Eagle Park, located at 15900 E. Golden Eagle Blvd. The animal, a male Dachshund, was found next to a trash can.
The dog did not have a tag nor a microchip for identification.
