PHOENIX — Volunteers for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will be hitting the streets as early as this weekend for the Safe Kids Summer program.
In its third year, events hosted by the program reach out to parents and children to educate them on topics ranging from water safety to child abuse prevention, according to a press release.
“These events are a great way for parents and kids to learn important tips on personal safety while having a good time,” Jerry Cobb said.
Free child ID kits are also passed out at events to register important identity information about children.
