So what does pizza delivery and Amazon Prime customers in the Valley have in common? Both are able to order something and expect it to be delivered in about an hour.
As reported by the Phoenix Business Journal, beginning Thursday, Seattle-based Amazon added Phoenix to the list of 10 other cities where customers can order something and expect it to be delivered within an hour.
The service is offered as part of its Prime subscription and often times includes free regular shipping on items. Under the program, Phoenix metro residents can get free two-hour shipping or pay an additional $7.99 and get it within an hour.
Amazon has several distribution centers located throughout the metro area.
