PHOENIX — A registered nurse from Phoenix claimed her $1 million Powerball prize on Monday, the Arizona Lottery said in an email.
Krista Crawley bought her winning ticket at the QuikTrip at 2450 E. Union Hills Dr.
Crawley won the $1 million in the May 11 drawing and discovered she was a winner on Mother’s Day. However, Crawley wanted to consult a financial advisor prior to claiming the prize.
Crawley plans to take her family on vacation and invest the remaining funds.
Two $1 million tickets were sold in Arizona for Saturday’s drawing. Neither winner has stepped forward.
